Our purpose at Christ the King Presbyterian Church is simple. It is to proclaim Jesus as Lord – the risen and reigning King; to glorify God by enjoying Him now and for all eternity; to worship Him in joy and the beauty of holiness; to serve Him and one another in love, and to grow together to maturity in Jesus Christ as individuals and families. It is our goal to disciple God’s people through the preaching and teaching of the Word of God that we might be the alternative and parallel community that Christ calls His Church to be. We are constantly interacting as salt and light, showing forth God’s love, mercy, justice, and life-transforming truth.
Christ the King Church is committed to building the kingdom of God by reaching people for Christ and equipping them to serve Him and others in His name. One of our main distinctions is that we emphasize serious in-depth study and exposition of God’s Word, the Bible, because we believe it to be the fundamental way that God changes lives, equips His people to be what He wants them to be, and through them accomplishes His purposes in the world.
